Objective: This paper aims at providing comfort to the neonates that suffer from pain due to medical interventions in the NICU, through the mediation of maternal temperature and heartbeat vibrations. Methods/Analysis: Here, a non-invasive solution, providing comfort through the mediation of a parent’s physiological features to the distressed neonate is adopted. This is done with the help of an intelligent pillow system embedded with wireless sensing and actuating functions. The neonates will show signs of comfortness when the maternal temperature and heartbeat vibrations are transferred via the pillow. Here, maternal temperature is added in addition to the existing heartbeat vibrations. Findings: Neonates in NICU undergo numerous interventions ranging from a simple diaper change to a major surgery. These neonates are subjected to pain and discomfort, especially during their initial weeks of lives. Pharmacological pain relief treatments are available, but it cannot be always preferred. Hence, a non-pharmacological technique is adopted using maternal temperature and heartbeat vibrations. This work was tested with a prototype of the recording and pillow unit, which produced the expected results of recording the mother’s temperature and heartbeat and transferring them as warmness and as vibrations respectively to the pillow. Application/Improvements: This work can be improved by developing the prototype as a market product and also adding other maternal physiological features like voice, body odour, etc.Keywords

Clustering is the task of finding natural partitioning within a data set such that data items within the same group are more similar than those within different groups. At present all available clustering techniques for web usage mining are based upon usage patterns derived from user's page preferences. To improve the efficiency of usage pattern, the similarities in user's access behavior based on time locality of user's navigational acts are used. The tuning algorithm defines cluster that show similar visiting behavior at the same time period and users page preferences by varying the priority given to the time visit.Keywords

Drought affects a large number of people and cause more loss to society compared to other natural disasters. Tamilnadu is a drought disaster-prone state in India. Data mining in agriculture is a very recent research topic. This technique is used for agriculture in data mining. A related, but not equivalent term is precision agriculture. The frequent occurrence of drought posses an increasingly severe threat to the Tamilnadu agricultural production. Drought also has very complex phenomenon that is difficult to accurately quantify because it’s immense spatial and temporal variability. In the Existing system, ISDI model construction was implemented for evaluating the accuracy and the effectiveness. This model application using a variety of methods and data, there is still some work to be done in our future research because of the complex spatial and temporal characteristics of drought. To overcome imitation, it assesses performance of measuring the drought by using the Spatial and temporal characteristics of information’s. The dataset is collected from different regions and also collects the time varying information’s from the dataset. In this, the drought conditions was predicted by using the supervised learning mechanism. It can be implemented by using the Bayesian supervised machine learning algorithm. Through this project accuracy and performance can be achieved, and also performance and effectiveness can be improved.

- Effect Of Aerobic Dance Training On Maximal Oxygen Uptake(Vo2max) Of College Women

The study was designed to investigate the “Effect of aerobic dance training on maximum oxygen uptake of College women”. To achieve this purpose 30 college women were randomly selected from Kovai Kalaimagal College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore as subjects. They were divided into two groups. The group I was considered as control group and group II was considered as experimental group. The investigator did not made any attempt to equate the group. The control group was not given any exercise and the experimental group was given aerobic dance training for eight weeks. The Vo2 max was assessed before and after the training period of 8 weeks. The collected data on Vo2max due to effect of aerobic dance training was analyzed by computing mean and standard deviation. In order to find out the significant improvement if any, ‘t’ test was applied. 0.05 level of confidence was fixed to test the level of significance. The study revealed that the vo2 max was significantly improved due to the influence of aerobic dance training.

Every nation requires cash to carry out its economic activity. Cash is the legal aspect with which all the transactions occur in a country. The circulation of currency notes provides scope for unaccounted transactions by creating unaccounted money or black money. This increases the disproportionate of expenditure with the accounted income thereby providing less scope for the taxable income. The transparency, efficiency, circulation of money through banking channel, impose of checks on black money necessitates the cashless transactions1. Further, the advent of technology has increased the technology driven activities in the country. In this aspect, the present study examines opinion on cashless trade by employing chisquare analysis, ANOVA, Z-test and factor analysis. The result reveals the factors which are considered as significant by the people while using cashless trade.Keywords
